December 19, 2018 (Kampala)-The Network of South Sudanese Civil Society Organizations in Uganda (NoSSCOU) has elects new leaders for 2019 today in its 5th annual general assembly election in Ugandan capital Kampala. The general assembly election was chair by outgoing Coordinator Mr. Tito Anthony who is the Executive Director of Centre for Peace and Justice (CPJ).
Newly elected of NoSSOU Coordinator, Ter Manyang Gatwech and Executive Director of the International Youth for Africa (IYA) says civil society groups are ready to widespread awareness to solicit for the support for the R-ARCSS through building confidence among the local people of South Sudan including refugees in neighboring countries including refugees in Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia and Sudan is fundamental to the success of peace Agreement as the people of South Sudan will own R-ARCSS. The ownership of the R-ARCSS is critical in effective implementation in the country. 
Juol Nhomnagek, the newly elected deputy Coordinator says, there is needs for wide spread dissemination of the R-ARCSS to make sure that the people of South Sudan including the refugees understand and support it.
Biel Boutros Biel, an observer for NoSSCOU says the elections were free and fair and stood as an example to all South Sudanese Civil Society.
The newly elected executive committees for the Network of South Sudanese Civil Society Organizations in Uganda are as follows:

 (c) Bishop Mulla Finisher Secretary General 
(d) Bathumi Ayul, Information Secretary  
(e) John Penn deputy Secretary  
(f) Maria Nyagai Finance Secretary  
(g) Kuol Arou Kuol Deputy Finance
