Concerning-Violence (1)Göran Olsson is a filmmaker from Sweden, well known from his earlier documentary: “The Black Power Mixtape 1967-1975”. The documentary telling about the evolution of the Black Power movement in the black community, combining music and interviews with the main players of the African American Cultures. It is been broadcasted on Swedish television for over thirty years.

In the same line, here is the new documentary: “Concerning Violence”; with a powerful story narrated by Lauryn Hill. It is centered on the book by Frantz Fanon, “ The Wretched of the Earth”; published in 1961 with a preface of Jean Paul Sartre – a book that fed the progress anti-colonialism struggle which still in debate until today. the documentary focuses with scenes from Lusophone Africa.
