affiche FIFDH 2015 40LX60 printFrom 7th to 20th April 2015, the 13th edition of the Paris Human Rights International Film Festival offers a rich edition with a selection of 33 films, including for nearly half the meetings with directors or human rights experts after each screening. For the first time, there will be a session dedicated to animated short films.

The festival organizers will welcome you from the 7th to 14th of April at Cinema Luminor Town Hall (ex. New Latina) in the heart of Paris.  Later the screening will be roaming around 8 cinemas and community locations in Paris and the Ile-de-France until to 20 April.

This year, seven awards will be presented at a special evening at the Luminor City Hall by an official jury of film professionals, a group of students formed in partnership with the Paris Independent Cinema, a jury in partnership with High Commissioner for Refugees and the United Nations, a jury of detainees and prison staff to the prison of Fleury-Merogis.

On Sunday 12 of April will be devoted to current events and the history of human rights in Turkey in relations with Armenia. On the program: a concert, a round table on the Armenian Genocide, presentation and book signing and exhibition of two new films …

The festival will host on 8th and 9th April the exhibition “Albania, gray or black misery” on shale oil development in Albania Luminor City Hall.
