The Economic Freedom Fighters’ CIC Julius Malema embarked on an anti-xenophobic violence campaign in Alexandra township. his campaign follows incidents of xenophobic violence that have engulfed our townships. The EFF branches will do door-to-door and host community meetings to explain to our people that xenophobia and its associated violence is not the solution to social and economic problems confronting society.

In the township of Alexandra, Malema, the leader of  “Economic Freedom Fighters” party raised awareness against acts of xenophobia. The awareness campaign will continue through the door-to-door and organizing meetings to explain that xenophobia and related violence are not solutions to the socio-economic problems that their society is facing. He invited people to make their demands to Luthuli House (the headquater of the ANC). He reminded them never to forget that other African countries came to their help to defeat apartheid.
